There have been many different dipictions of werewolves in todays society. From "Teen Wolf" and "An American Werewolf in London" to "Underworld" and "Twilight". All of these movies have different depictions of what werewolves look like and how they change. Some of them show werewolves as being mindless killers, while others paint them in a more docile state.
Teen Wolf is a movie directed by Rod Daniel. This movie is about a teen (Michael J. Fox) who does not know that he is a werewolf until he starts going through changes. He then finds out that he comes from a family of werewolves. This movie is a coming-of-age comedy and protrays werewolves as generally non-aggressive.
Underworld is a movie directed by Len Wiseman. In this movie, you become a werewolf primarily by being bitten. The plot of this movie is about an ancient war between vampires an Lycans(werewolves). It is found out that each side in this war is trying to find Michael, one of the main characters, in hopes to turn him with both vampire and Lycan bites to create a hybrid. This movie depicts werewolves as more aggressive and blood thirsty.
